Kennebunkport, Maine, October 2nd, 2006: Wild Kitty Cat Food is currently undergoing the most extensive independent testing yet undertaken for any raw pet food at a major US university which has pioneered many advances in feline nutrition. Their expanded and more stringent requirements for the All Life Stages feeding protocol exceed those set by the American Association of Feed Control Officials (AAFCO) for approval of pet foods to be labeled “Complete and Balanced”. Wild Kitty Cat Food is the first raw cat to be formulated to meet the nutritional needs of cats and kittens using all natural, whole foods, with no added vitamins, minerals or supplements. Using all human grade foods like whole ducks, clams and oysters, Wild Kitty’s high-protein/low-carb approach to a cat’s diet is a revolution in feline nutrition.
About Wild Kitty Cat Food
The company was founded in 2005 by Stephanie Nadeau, a seafood dealer from Maine. With no background in veterinary nutrition she developed her cat food recipe for her sick cat, Baby Sweetie who had been given a dire prognosis by the vet. In desperation, using her peculiar knowledge of fishery products she developed the recipe for Wild Kitty. Taking a leap of faith, and against her vet’s wishes, she fed Baby the raw chicken food and in a very short period Baby Sweetie recovered completely.
